Environmental Management Education for Sustainability in the Riviera Maya
Our six-month project aims to educate students aged 16 and above, who are about to start secondary or university studies. We will systematize an environment a management program that includes five guided visits to key facilities such as water treatment plants, recycling centers, landfills, recycling industries, and wastewater treatment plants.
Alongside these visits, participants will engage in talks and workshops designed to equip them with practical knowledge and inspire a commitment to sustainability. Our goal is to provide both technical insights and a sense of responsibility, preparing students to make a significant socio-environmental impact in their future careers.
Enhancing Cognitive and Motor Skills Through Aquatic Activities for People with Disabilities
Over six months, our project aims to improve aquatic skills for a small group of students from the El Amor Te elige a Ti Foundation with motor and cognitive disabilities. The goal is to enable them to independently enjoy snorkeling and eventually diving. Through tailored and structured aquatic activities, we seek to enhance their independence in the water while providing an enjoyable and fulfilling experience.
Our focus is on promoting meaningful inclusion, ensuring that each participant can fully engage in and benefit from these aquatic activities.
Training for Environmental Educators
Our six-month project focuses on creating a specialized training program for environmental educators with motor or cognitive disabilities. This initiative aims to enhance their skills in environmental education and open up employment opportunities that have traditionally been scarce for this group. Participants will receive in-depth training on essential topics such as the waste cycle and recycling, as well as body language and public speaking to raise awareness in the broader community.
